Times and Dates at the Antipodes

Due to the nature of antipodes it is obvious that the two location are opposite in everything concerning time and season.

If it is noon in one place it is midnight at the other place and if it summer at one place it is winter in the other place.

Because of the difference in time dates can be confusing to a traveler going from one place to the other. In fact, the traveler can gain or lose a day depending on the direction he/she travels.

To avoid confusion of dates the International Date Line was established wherein the dates can be brought to agreement.
